Bohol, Philippines

Our calling is to reach every school district on the island of Bohol with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Nine districts so far, by the grace of God — many more to go.

The Field

The Open Doors of Bohol

Bohol is a Philippine island of about 1.3 million people in the central Visayas region. It is a Catholic-majority province, but the Lord has graciously opened doors into the public school system that have allowed our family — together with Filipino Baptist pastors — to preach the gospel to high school students directly in their classrooms and at full-school assemblies.

Every visit begins with a formal request letter to the Schools Division Superintendent of Bohol, co-signed by the partnering local pastor and Collin (as a Sunday School teacher of that church). The Department of Education has consistently returned these letters with formal endorsement.

Where the Lord Has Opened Doors So Far

Bohol has 47 municipalities, and our goal is to reach every one with the gospel. The Lord has opened nine districts so far, each anchored by a local Baptist pastor who walks with us into the schools and disciples the students who respond to the gospel.

2026 Trip

May 26 – July 26, 2026

This summer the Lord willing, we will preach in eight new high schools across Anda, Pilar, and Mabini districts — to an estimated several thousand students. That will bring our total schools reached over three years to twenty-five.
